Frequently Asked Questions

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding and changing human behavior. It encompasses a wide range of techniques and procedures to address concerns in many areas of life including; communication, self-help skills, behavioral challenges, and social skills.

At Alora, our ABA services are individualized to each person we serve with the goal of helping that person achieve an independent and meaningful life.

Our in-home services are available in southern California. We serve the counties of Los Angeles, San Bernadino, Riverside, and San Diego.

We are vendors for the California Regional Centers and accept Medi-Cal through LA Care, Inland Empire Health Plan, Kaiser Permanente, Molina, and Anthem. If you do not see your insurance carrier listed, please give us a call to discuss your options.

Our staff represent a wide variety of training backgrounds, expertise, experience, philosophies and skills. We attempt to find a match that meets the client and client’s family needs. Sometimes this cannot be accomplished and we will attempt to make arrangements for a new referral through the regional center or insurance carrier. In some cases, we are able to make a change in the worker if the issue cannot be resolved.

To begin the intake process, you can call our office at 626-339-4999, contact your case manager, or click “Start your Journey” at the top of this page. Our helpful intake coordinators will navigate you through the process.

Intervention frequency is determined through an individualized assessment done by one of our clinical leadership team members. Depending on how many hours of services are recommended, we will work with you to develop a schedule that meets the needs of your family.
